Isla San Jorge
I've spent quite a few days on a friend's boat Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. During that time I became friends with the owners of another boat that were taking people out on daily tours to Bird Island. Locally known as Isla San Jorge, this is not really an island but a group of large rocks that stick out of the water. When observed from afar, the rocks are white with Guano (bird feces) and look like they're made of marble. It's the largest Sea Lion colony in Mexico and it offered an amazing opportunity to get close and observe these playful mammals. This panorama was made from several photos stitched together flawlessly, all taken from the deck, while trying to maintain the camera in place in spite of the waves.
