Texture: Elephant
As a photographer, one of the things I most often look for is textures. They are everywhere, making our lives more interesting. It was in a Renaissance fair in Arizona that I had a chance to see an elephant so up close. I'm not sure that they used elephants that much during the Renaissance, but at least it gave me an opportunity to explore this female with the lens. Her skin was like a desert landscape: valleys and ridges, grooves and peaks. Notice how she was perfectly side-lit by the sun, emphasising her every feature and making this picture so interesting and full of details.
