Cows and Cattle Egrets are a common sight. As a part of the story I was shooting in Bukomero village in Rwanda, I stumbled upon a few grazing cows and, naturally, there were Cattle Egrets around. I had to make the common sight more interesting and I chose to use one of the most important rules of composition to do so- triangles. I picked an angle from which the Egrets created a triangle in the background, which works well with the triangle that the cow is making with her head and long neck. The whites in both animals also help convey the relationship between them.
